“WHAT’S NEXT” Innovation and Incubation Preparing for the 4th Industrial era
Join SABTIA for the 1st Annual Africa TechCamp, hosted in partnership with Monash SA and City of Ekurhuleni, on 25 and 26 September 2018. Industry 4.0 will have an impact on the entire entrepreneurial ecosystem that supports innovation and incubation. Be part of SABTIA’s Africa TechCamp and be exposed to a broader understanding of the future of incubation programmes and government and private sector SMME development and innovation initiatives. International and local industry experts will guide industry role players on global developments, innovative techniques and methodologies that can reshape and revolutionise existing models to better support smme development programmes, entrepreneurial ventures and prepare our workforce to be innovative and remain relevant.
Government and public sector entities: You will gain better underdanding of incubation in Southern Africa and be exposed to best practice on designing and implementing more impactful SMME development programmes using Incubation.
Corporate sector, including procurement, transformation and ESD departments: You will learn how incubation and its elements can support businesses development programmes, such as SED and BBEE Compliance, SOE Supplier Development and localisation compliance.
Incubators and Accelarator hubs: You will be provided with the newest tools, technical know-how and procedures to improve and enhance the services you provide.
The Africa Tech Camp will have a key focus on the integration of the business value chain and how incubation can support effective and efficient processes.
The TechCamp takes place over the course of two days, in which field experts deliver keynote sessions on the newest methodologies that business incubators should adopt and disseminate. Five international speakers will animate five main key sessions of approximately one to two hours on innovative topics.
