Mission

The purpose of PRODETUR is to provide a multidisciplinary response to the need to promote the development of the country, using tourism as an articulator axis, in geographical areas that have a high potential to materialize in their territories. Maintaining the harmonisation between economic, social and environmental aspects in all its interventions and projects.

How we work

PRODETUR has specialized in supporting local economic development through tourism activity, among other related productive activities such as agro-industry and crafts, seeking to generate value added to the economy. We work in support of micro, small and medium enterprises, and we encourage project management by integrating sustainable methods. It is precisely the three working axes of PRODETUR, the local economic development, the promotion of MSMEs, and the management of projects. They complement and form interesting synergies with each other.

Our goal

Our goal is to help our clients implement innovative and sustainable processes to take advantage of and optimize the potential of their individual and community initiatives, as well as to contribute to the institutional strengthening of the government sector, at the national, regional and municipal levels. Aware that tourism constitutes a means to improve the well-being and quality of life of the recipient populations and an option to achieve the economic, social, cultural and environmental development of Guatemala.
