The EurAfrican Forum is the annual meeting that gathers changemakers from both Africa and Europe, looking to discuss common challenges and work on future partnerships for sustainable solutions. The forum explores and promotes the power of diasporas as a connecting force between cities, regions and continents, as well as cultures, companies and people.
On the 16th and 17th of September 2021, the Portuguese Diaspora Council will host the EurAfrican Forum for the fourth consecutive year.
In 2020, the EurAfrican Forum took place on the 3rd and 4th of September in a digital format and the theme was “In Search for a Common Ground in a Post-Covid World” and it had the presence of several personalities from both continents, such as senior officials and policymakers, entrepreneurs, activists, artists and researchers. Remember this edition here.
“It is now time to establish a structured cooperation between both continents, engaging not only public decision makers but creating a denser network, embarking in the discussions entrepreneurs, young people, women, artists, scientists.”
José Manuel Durão Barroso – Chairman of EurAfrican Forum
