Muva is a five-year programme working with young disadvantaged women living in urban areas in Mozambique that works with the private and public sectors to reduce the barriers that exclude women from access to decent work.

Muva Innovar works with a diverse range of companies to support them to be investment ready, whilst supporting the development of alternative finance models working with national and international key players that can provide accessible and appropriate finance.

In addition, Muva Innovar wants to put the country’s investment opportunities in the spotlight. Mozambique’s language, culture and law system, especially regarding financial markets, can deter investment yet there are many small and medium enterprises with high growth potential. Therefore, we look for opportunities to smooth the way for investment, enabling investors to support and benefit from the dynamism that exists amongst Mozambique’s entrepreneurs.
