ConversAcciones 2022

Jóvenes contribuyendo a la construcción de un Mejor Mexico sin "mordidas"

What is ConversAcciones about?

The ConversAcciones 2022 challenge is an initiative to encourage young people to propose solutions that contribute to the construction of an environment without “bites” (acts of bribery) where they live, study and/or work. The proposals must be directly actionable by the teams that propose them, viable, scalable and replicable.

Requirements to apply

  • Teams of young people (from 3 to 5 people) studying at a higher level in a public or private institution in the Mexican Republic.
  • Age limit to participate 29 years.

What to expect from the program?

Proposals with their completed form will go through a first filter in which it will be checked that they meet the basic requirements of the Challenge:

  • Focused: That seeks to solve the problem of “bites” in their environment.
  • Actionable: That it can be carried out in the first person plural, by the students themselves and those close to them. (No suggestions for others to do)
  • Viable: That the resources (human, material, financial) required for its execution and the possible ways of obtaining them be identified.
  • Scalable: They can impact a large number of people.
  • Replicable: They can be repeated in other areas.

In a second filter, the Organizing Committee will evaluate the degree to which each proposal meets the indicated requirements, for which it will consider the strength of its theory of change and social innovation and the probability of achieving a high impact. The committee may request interviews with the participants if it requires more information to be clear about its proposals.

The committee will select between 12 and 20 proposals and will inform those teams that they have moved on to the next stage. They will be asked to submit a video of maximum two minutes and a presentation of their proposal.

These proposals will be evaluated by three instances, who will vote for the solutions they consider to advance to the next stage.

  • General public: The proposal that receives the most votes will go to the Impulse stage.
  • National Community: All the participants in any of the Forums will be able to vote for the proposals that they would like to be able to replicate in their environments. The two proposals that receive the most interest (votes) will go to the Impulse stage.
  • Jury: The proposals will be presented in a live digital event, before a jury. Each team will have a maximum of five minutes for their presentation and to answer questions from the jury. The Jury will select a minimum of three proposals, so that a total of six go to the Impulse stage.
