Jones Day has solidified our position as a driving force for innovation in the fintech and digital assets markets with the launch of “FinAccelerate.” FinAccelerate is an intense accelerator program aimed at enabling innovative  fintech companies to access legal know-how and connect with leading financial institutions, investors, and potential joint venture partners  in order to accelerate their business.

The three-day program will begin at our San Francisco Office on October 25 and 26. The Demo Day will be held at our Silicon Valley Office on October 27. The program will be supported by continuous engagement with a strong ecosystem of world-leading investors, advisors, and partners.

The program has secured some of the world’s leading influencers as advisors to the program. Fintech companies interested in a spot in the program or those interested in attending the Demo Day should apply.

The program is open to companies at any stage of development and funding. The selected companies do not have to give way any equity and there is no charge to participate if you are selected.

Program structure

The program is run over three (3) key days at Jones Day’s offices in the Bay Area and followed up with continuous engagement:

• Day 1: San Francisco: structured know-how sessions for cohort companies, covering key legal areas: FinTech legal product, regulatory law, IP, corporate VC funding, data and privacy, employment, tech agreements, and risk management;
• Day 2: San Francisco: dedicated Q&A sessions with relevant lawyers presenting on topics from Day 1;
• Day 3: Silicon Valley Demo Day: cohort companies are given an opportunity to present themselves to an audience of invited institutions, VCs, influencers and investors.
• Continuous Engagement: following the intense initial period, companies will enjoy ongoing engagement with a strong ecosystem of leading advisors, potential investors, and partners.
