The primary objective of the NINJA Accelerator Program is to equip early-stage startups with the necessary skills, resources, and networks to become “Corporate Ready.”
This entails preparing them for strategic collaborations with corporations and enterprise clients, thereby enhancing their growth prospects and increasing their attractiveness to potential investors. The program aims to make startups “Corporate Ready” and corporations more accessible and “Startup Ready” by enabling them to effectively engage with each other and derive strategic returns from various forms of collaboration. By facilitating simulations, product / service testing, market insights, and proof-of-concepts (PoCs), the program seeks to accelerate the building of a mutually beneficial relationships between companies and South African startups.
Eligibility criteria
1. Founder Applicant (a founder with at least 10% ownership and active leadership position in the company should apply on your behalf).
2. For profit, post-product, post-revenue, digital tech-enabled business solution with minimum of 12 months sustained revenue and 6-months runway.
3. Based in South Africa (preferably with operations in Johannesburg).
4. The founder, or a co-founder, must be of south African nationality.
5. Led by a dedicated FULL-TIME founding team.
6. Minimum of 2 years of existence.
7. At a stage to raise from seed – post series A funding rounds.
8. Being in the verticals of Agriculture, Energy
9. Telecommunications is a strong asset.
