The SMEFest by Jasper is an annual gathering of SMEs on the Mainland of Lagos at the start of the year, bringing together small and medium enterprises, startup founders, policy makers and investors to learn, connect and build for themselves – and is usually a great event for organizations to introduce their product stack, feature updates and major announcements to the ecosystem at the start of the year.

Context: Despite global challenges Africa’s economy is expected to grow by 4.2% in 2025 according to reports by the IMF and World Bank. It is also projected that Africa is able to add $1.2T to its economy by increasing productivity to match the production capacity of Asia. This Conference would challenge participants, the online audience, and every African who would watch the recording in the future to contribute towards this goal by building quality and scalable local products with a global audience is mind, consequently driving up exports and increasing the GDP of Africa.
