The Covid-19 pandemic has impacted everyone and led to the international community, as a whole, having to manage the challenges that have been created.
The fallout, however, hasn’t been felt evenly and has led to Kristalina Georgieva of the IMF to call on the international community to give emerging economies a “fair shot” at recovery and future prosperity. The Africa Debate is focused on providing a platform for discussion and action on how to best support Africa’s transformative recovery.
Taking place over three days as a fully virtual event, it will bring 1,000+ thought leaders, industry experts and entrepreneurs together to discuss how to best support Africa’s transformative recovery as part of the ‘Great Reset’. The decisions made in the next months will inform Africa’s place in the global economy for years to come. Make sure you take the opportunity to have your say.
The main themes addressed this year will include:
Join our country partner, Ghana, for a half-day investment roadshow highlighting opportunities in-country and support for international investors. This will be an opportunity for those investing, or new investors; to gain insight and network with policy-makers and decision-makers in Ghana.
Setting big ambitions also means supporting the MSMEs who form the backbone of Africa’s economies. In a series of workshops and discussions, the Next Generation Africa Financing Forum will bring together PE Firms, DFIs, MSMEs and corporates to explore innovative financial solutions.
Now in its 7th year, The Africa Debate is London’s leading investment summit focused on Africa, and this year we will once again host 1000+ delegates from global businesses, private and public investment bodies, thought leaders and policy makers, who will share their perspectives on how dynamic trade strategies can create sustainable economic development.
1000 + investors, market leaders and senior decision-makers from across energy, finance, PE funds, professional services, government agencies, logistics, technology, infrastructure, retail, real estate, construction and leisure.
