Reto Digital 2021

The Digital Challenge is an initiative of Diners Club Ecuador in partnership with IMPAQTO, which seeks disruptive digital solutions in the market that are focused on fostering the development of technology in e-commerce and E-commerce.

We are looking for entrepreneurs like you, who break paradigms and transform digital commerce in the country!

Initiatives that identify their impact in the social and environmental fields will have a higher value and should also be aligned with the business strategy of Diners Club.

What is the category?

you have an idea of business or entrepreneurship that can be related to E-commerce tools, this opportunity is for you!

We are looking for products or services, software applications and innovative software from any industry related to entrepreneurship and innovation that respond to the transformation of commerce today. Each applicant will be able to present two initiatives in the bid category through Friday, March 19, 2021

Want to win?

Participate with your initiative, up to a year old, here. We will receive the postulations, until Friday, March 19, 2021. A jury specializing in entrepreneurship, innovation and sustainability will select 10 finalists, of which 3 winners will be chosen, the following parameters will be taken into account: strategic and operational alignment with Diners Club, innovation and sustainability, and financial viability. The process will take place as follows: the 10 finalists will receive training for the formulation of their business plans, digital transformation processes and pitch presentation. Once this phase has been completed, they will present their pitch to the specialized jury and these proposals will be selected for the 3 winners.

Call dates

Phase 1: Reception and evaluation of applications

Presents ideas or projects that propose innovative E-commerce solutions. The platform will be open from 4 March 2021, at 12h00, until 19 March 2021, until 23h59. In this phase, the nominations will be evaluated by an internal jury of IMPAQTO and Diners Club Ecuador.

Phase 2: Definition and call for finalists

From 19 to 24 March 2021, the internal jury of Diners Club will evaluate the proposals according to the criteria set out in the competition grounds. The 10 finalists of the 2021 Digital Diners Club Reto will receive a communication via email until March 26, 2021. Download here the basis of the competition.

Phase 3: Business model workshop + innovation Diners Club Ecuador

The 10 finalists of the 2021 Digital Diners Club Club will be invited to participate in a business model, digital transformation and pitch workshop in which they will empower their idea to present it to experts who will qualify their proposal. The workshop will be held on the line, via zoom, in the first week of April 2021.

Phase 4: Project Expo by the finalists of the Digital Diners Club 2021 Challenge

Those selected at this stage will have to present their business model in a pitch for the final qualification of their proposal. This exhibition will be held immediately after the workshops in the second week of April 2021.

Phase 5: Award winners and awards event

The announcement of winners and awards event will be held on the same day as the pitch of the pitch in the second week of April 2021.
