Impact Hub Accra is a leading social entrepreneurship and innovation center in Ghana. Our mission is to support inclusive growth in West Africa through the creation of a resilient and dynamic social innovation ecosystem.
Over the last 5 years, our work has evolved into building the Osu Ako Adjei area as the city’s innovation district and the nerve center for Accra’s entrepreneurs & bold thinkers. We are at the nexus of Talent, Tech & Capital for social impact. Impact Hub Accra is the city’s premier startup hotspot with a diverse community of 250+ members and over 1700sqm of progressively green workspaces under management.
Working with a grassroots movement committed to “DIY Urbanism”, Impact Hub Accra is transforming spaces all across Osu Ako Adjei into activated living and work spaces where different local and global ecosystem players converge to engage Ghana’s vibrant young entrepreneurs. Impact Hub Accra offers everything needed for entrepreneurs to thrive. At the base we provide a collaborative workspace, Google Fiber internet, meeting rooms, makerspace, and a cafe. Looking deeper, Impact Hub Accra provides much more including accelerator programs, mentorship, networking sessions, hackathons, and the opportunity to design and prototype. In addition, Impact Hub Accra has launched a health innovation incubator in partnership with Merck!
We work with a wide range of partners to support startups from concept to investment and beyond, including: the US Government (BBG), Unreasonable Institute, British Council, Facebook, Hack for Big Choices, Merck, and Siemens. Impact Hub Accra (IHA) is part of the global Impact Hub Network with with a presence in 85 cities, across 5 regions and 15,000+ members.
