Digitalization of Agrifood Systems Hemispheric Program
It is a forum spearheaded by IICA to enable leading figures involved in the digitalization of agrifood systems in the Americas to engage in dialogue and coordinate actions to drive that process. It is a hybrid event. Selected AgTechs and special guests will attend in person at IICA Headquarters in San Jose, Costa Rica, while multiple leading figures will participate virtually. Many of the activities will be broadcast online for the public.
Digital Agriculture Week is an IICA initiative carried out within the framework of its Digitalization of Agrifood Systems Hemispheric Program, which is geared towards fostering the dynamic and inclusive digitalization of agrifood systems in the Americas.
AgTech startups from the Americas with ready-to-use digital solutions (not ideas or prototypes) are invited to apply to participate in Digital Agriculture Week (DAW).
The selected startups will travel to Costa Rica to participate in DAW 2023, with all expenses paid.
All applicants will be allowed to participate virtually in the event’s activities and will become part of IICA’s AgTech Network. All the startups that apply will be linked to IICA and its allies for possible future activities. In addition, their solutions will be considered in future studies and reports that emerge after ADA Week.
