SSENIF 2019
The event is organised by Igbo General Assembly (IGA), The Netherlands, who are the hosts and it is expected that investors and businesses, especially within Europe, will attend. This 2nd annual summit of SSENIF intends to further the gains of the first summit held last year in the United Kingdom by bringing together investors and businesses in diverse sectors that include; Agriculture, Maritime, Manufacturing, Health Facilities & Services and Education, amongst others.
The summit is designed to emphasise the huge investment and business opportunities and the improving enabling investment climate within the South-Southern and South-Eastern Nigeria. The summit provides the platform for partnership between local and foreign investors/businesses and their Nigerian counterparts to harness the opportunities for their mutual benefits while bringing economic growth and developments to the regions of Nigeria. Crucially, the event seeks to provide a platform for effective mutual dialogue and networking between the Nigerian business community, government representatives in the South-southern and South-eastern Nigeria and potential local and foreign investors and businesses.
The objectives of the summit include:
Nigeria being the biggest economy in Africa with a growing population of about 200 million people, the summit is intended to enhance effective access to the huge Nigerian market for potential investors and businesses. It provides a first hand interactive platform for potential (European) investors and businesses and Nigerian businesses seeking collaboration & partnerships as well as relevant government functionaries coming from Nigeria.
The event will take place at Borchland, Borchlandweg 6-10, 1114 BD Amsterdam, The Netherlands on 25th September 2019.
