She Wins Arabia

Are you a female entrepreneur looking to expand, learn, and get funding for your business? Are your headquarters in the MENA region? Do you have a tech-startup? If yes, then this application is for you!

She WINS Arabia aims to help women-led startups across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) get the advice, mentorship, and finance they need to grow. The initiative was launched in 2021 in the UAE and has provided capacity building workshops and trainings to key players in the region’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, including nearly 80 women entrepreneurs leading startups and over 20 fund managers.

IFC launched the second phase of She Wins Arabia in partnership with the World Government Summit, the Women Entrepreneurs Finance Initiative (We-Fi) and the Kingdom of the Netherlands. In this round, the initiative will expand its support to 100 women-led startups and over 20 fund managers across MENA. The “She Wins” initiative will host events and trainings throughout 2023 to enhance the selected startups’ abilities in getting the needed financing opportunities and investments.

Apply Now For An Expenses-Covered Networking Opportunity In Dubai! You will have a chance to be one of 100 women entrepreneurs invited to a 2-day networking event in Dubai. The event will be attended by key ecosystem players and regional funds managers. It will also include a panel discussion on how to enable more financing opportunities for women-led startups in MENA.

Following the networking event, the entrepreneurs will also be invited to attend training measures on how to develop and grow their business.

Select start-ups will also be chosen for in-depth advisory support on the challenges they face in their business.

What expense are covered?

• Round-trip flight to Dubai for one female founder based in the MENA region
• Accommodation and meals of one female-founder for 3 nights in Dubai from February 11th – 14th
• Transportation to She Wins events in Dubai.

Eligibility criteria

• Headquarters: MENA
• Countries: Egypt, Libya, Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, Yemen, West Bank & Gaza, Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, and Bahrain
• Industry: Technology
• Language: English – Fluent

If you have previously participated in the first edition of the She WINS Arabia IFC-led training (2022), you are not eligible to apply.
