IFC ScaleX Accelerator Webinar Series

IFC ScaleX is a global initiative implemented by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), in partnership with Women Entrepreneurs Finance Initiative (We-Fi), that aims to increase access to early-stage risk capital for women-led startups in emerging markets.

Under the program, IFC is hosting a 4-part Accelerator Webinar Series for accelerators from around the world, they will be sharing insights and best practices that accelerators and entrepreneur support organizations (ESO) can adopt to strengthen their support to female founders, with a particular emphasis on how to support women-led startups raise early-stage equity financing.

The webinar series will be facilitated by Village Capital and are adressed to accelerators and incubators from any region.

On Nov 16, 2023 at 3:00 PM CET, VC4A will be speaking at a session on “Incorporating a Gender Lens in Direct Entrepreneur Support”, where we will discuss methodologies to apply in programs that support women entrpreneurs in fundraising.

Other sessions include “An Introduction to the IFC ScaleX Accelerator Webinar Series & Tweaking Internal Accelerator Processes to Support Women-Led Startups” on November 2nd, “Building Diverse and Supportive Investor and Mentor Networks” on November 30 and “From Learnings to Practice” on December 14.
