ABOUT THE ANNUAL INVESTMENT MEETING
Annual Investment Meeting (AIM), the World’s Leading Investment Platform in the Middle East and North Africa, will hold its 10th edition on March 24-26 2020 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Under the theme ‘Investing for the Future: Shaping the Global Investment Strategies’, AIM will gather high-ranking government officials, decision makers, corporate leaders, policy makers, businessmen, regional and international investors, entrepreneurs, leading academics and investment experts to address the global challenges of securing viable investment aimed at contributing to economic growth.
ABOUT AIM NATIONAL STARTUP COMPETITION KENYA
The AIM National Startup Competition, Kenya is part of a series of national pitch competitions staged in over 100 countries,to discover startups with huge potential to expand and to penetrate the market with confidence.
The National Pitch Competition, Kenya will be held on 4th March 2020 at @iBizAfrica in Strathmore University.
One winner will be selected and invited to be part of the final AIM 2020 Global Technopreneurs in Dubai on 24th March 2020 to 26th March 2020. This invitation will include flight, accommodation, kiosk, networking and incubation opportunities.
ELIGIBILITY
To be qualified, startups must:
- Have less than 50 employees
- Be at least 2-7 years old
- Have an annual revenue of $100,000 to $1,000,000
- Have passed at least one round of funding
- Match the listed categories in AIM Startup
COMMUNICATION TO APPLICANTS:
The application deadline will be on 2nd March 2020 at 9.00 p.m.
Communication to shortlisted applicants will be done via email on 3rd March 2020.
WINNER NOTIFICATION: Only one winner will be selected on Wednesday 4th March 2020 at the AIM National Pitch Competition in Kenya for an opportunity to pitch to a panel of experts in entrepreneurship, technology, and business management at AIM 2020.
