ISTG promotes STEM education & innovation in the US and abroad mainly in Africa.

ISTG – The Innovative Science & Technology Group – is a Chicago-founded non-profit [501(c)(3)] organization dedicated to the advancement of science and technology in underserved communities primarily within the US and Africa.

ISTG’s goals include to: (1) increase the STEM participation of traditionally underrepresented African STEM groups (such as girls, women, rural populations and economically disadvantaged populations); (2) create and implement the development of U.S.-sponsored Africa-centric science programs and initiatives, geared towards the promulgation of science and technology literacy throughout Africa and the advancement of scientific research and development within African and US urban educational institutions, with the potential of subsequent product development; and (3) promote innovation and entrepreneurship in the US and abroad, namely Africa.
