What is the Creative Cup?

Creative Business Cup celebrates and promotes the creative industries, a unique tribe of disruptive innovators looking to change the world and impact the global economy. We do so through highly inclusive starting competitions throughout the year and around the world. The focus is solely on the creative sectors.

What does the competition consist of?

The Creative Cup carries out an international search for creative entrepreneurs through different events to find the representative of each country performing a process of selecting, training and presenting their company’s pitches in front of a high level jury in their country.

Process

1. Convocation and Virtual Inscriptions the entrepreneurs at the national level.
2. In-person event of the semifinals in San Pedro Sula, Roatan, La Ceiba and Tegucigalpa between February and March 2022.
3. The entrepreneurs of the final national grand final meet the representative of Honduras in Denmark.

Who are we looking for?

Entrepreneurs from the orange economies and creative industries.

What are the eligibility criteria?

The call is for all enterprises nationwide.

Requirements

1. Creative and functional project on the market (a minimum viable product for marketing, 1 minimum year of operation).
2. The leading entrepreneur must have Honduran nationality (other team members may be foreign).
3. Participants must be over 21 years of age.
4. Your entrepreneurship must not have received more than one million dollars of external investment capital.
5. It is a project with global potential (innovative, replicable and scalable).
6. In case of winning the competition, they must be constituted as business.

Awards-1st Place

• Travel to Denmark to the grand final of the Creative Cup (all expenses paid).
• Intensive training a week before the grand final.

Awards-2nd Place

• $1,000.00 in seed capital.
• Enrollment to the UNITEC HUB incubation program.

Awards-3rd Place

• $750.00 in seed capital
• Enrollment to the UNITEC HUB incubation program.
