Heavy Chef creates events, workshops and learning experiences for entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs and graduates. Heavy Chef aims to inspire people to start new projects and empower them to succeed. We believe inspiration comes from creating tactile, authentic and magical ‘interactive moments’ that add a richness and permanence to the learning process.
Our name comes from the term ‘never trust a skinny chef’ – meaning that, in a time where the world is empowered to talk, we believe that it’s time to become a doer. Our monthly events are the longest-running and most popular monthly tech events in South Africa.
