2020 was a year of facing challenges and staying afloat due to Covid-19. We seek to understand how this period affected your business and how you coped through this period. Your response will help shape solutions for young agripreneurs as you rebuild resilient businesses.

Generation Africa’s enduring mission is to bring the dynamism of youth entrepreneurship to Africa’s agri-food sector. It aims to strengthen the ecosystem that supports agripreneurs as they travel the perilous journey from ideation to scale, encompassing ventures from small-scale, village-level enterprise to “gazelles” with broad reach, and supporting upward mobility. Our mission is to support young agripreneur (Gogettaz) in their journey.

Covid-19 introduced the world to times that were unprecedented that called for survival. The pandemic created unanticipated challenges to young agripreneurs causing businesses to struggle and stress to the business owners.

Generation Africa is carrying out a survey to access the extent of effects of Covid-19 to your businesses as a young Agripreneurs. The findings will be used to develop interventions that will help you rebuild your business and recover in your entrepreneurship journey. The goal is to create an enabling environment for young agripreneurs to recover from the impact and build resilient businesses that can withstand shocks.
