The Global Youth Climate Action Fund envisions a society in which young people have the tools necessary to engage in green entrepreneurship and build a green economy. These entails the reduction of carbon emissions and protecting the environment
Global Youth Climate Action Fund (GYCAF) supports youth-led climate change initiatives in areas most affected by the effects of climate changes.
Global Youth Climate Action Fund (GYCAF) targets the following areas:

Sustainability in food production through sustainable agriculture.

Provision of clean energy for communities in need.

Safeguarding marine life and preventing catastrophic climate change.

Youth empowerment through capacity building and business training.

Strides in innovation and technology towards solving climate-related issues.
Eligibility

Open to organizations with youth focus that are 80% owned by young people (under 30 years)

Strong drive to use grassroot activism to have an impact on the community.

Environment and socioeconomic effects of the project or program are clearly stated.

Requesting funding to launch new programs or assist the already existing ones.

An explanation of how and why the award will be valuable in enhancing the project’s value and effect.

Project shows evidence of careful planning, including a well-developed strategy, timetable, budget, and team management.
Benefits

Grants will be given to the successful candidates in the range of USD $500 to USD$1,000, depending on the grantee application.
