GEN is getting ready for our most exciting annual event of the year – the Global Entrepreneurship Congress. This year we have an exciting lineup of events and activities including a Global SME Ministerial led by the U.S. Small Business Administration; the Global Business Angels Network annual meeting and event series; Start the Spark convening; and the Get in the Ring international finals – the pitch event of the year.
Every year, the Global Entrepreneurship Congress (GEC) gathers together thousands of entrepreneurs, investors, researchers, policymakers and other startup champions from more than 160 countries to identify new ways of helping founders start and scale new ventures around the world. At the weeklong GEC, delegates make connections, gain insights, learn about new research, and leave ready to renew their programs, policy ideas or firm founder skills.
GEC will take place in Medellín, Colombia on March 14 – 17, 2016.
