COMPETITION OVERVIEW
GIST Tech-I is an annual competition for science an technology entrepreneurs from 135 emerging economies around the world. The competition enables entrepreneurs to launch and/or grow a company through:
• Training with successful entrepreneurs, scientists, angel investors, and venture capitalists
• Networking opportunities
• Prizes to support your entrepreneurship goals
• National and international visibility for your idea or enterprise
GIST Tech-I is open to citizens of GIST-eligible emerging economies aged 18 to 40 years old.
APPLICATION MATERIALS
By January 22, 2016, visit www.gistnetwork.org/tech-i/apply to submit the following:
• A short summary of your idea or startup company (up to 100 words in English)
• An executive summary describing your venture’s significance, technical merit, and commercial potential (up to 750 words in English)
• A promotional video that will sell our experts and the global public on your idea (up to 90 seconds in English or with English subtitles)
