Rwanda Circular Economy program

We are excited to announce that Circular Economy Incubation, Acceleration and Innovation Coaches program brought to you by GIZ, and executed by MDF Global is currently accepting applications for:

• Companies with a circular economy focus who want to work on their investment readiness in a 2-month Innovation sprint followed by 6 months of tailored coaching  
• Coaches who want to improve their investment readiness support skills, tools, and network to support 3 companies each over a 6-month period

This program is specifically designed to improve investment readiness of companies with a circular economy focus in Rwanda AND build the capacity of coaches in the ecosystem. This will lead to the development of an Investment Readiness toolkit as a tangible resource that will hopefully lead to a stronger ecosystem, continued support to start-ups and more successful (impact) investments in the Country. 

The Innovation Sprint (September-October) for companies will include comprehensive assessments, targeted workshops designed to enhance the entrepreneurs’ capacity to attract investment effectively and innovate their business model to increase their revenue – which will make them more interesting to investors in the ecosystem.

The coaches will benefit from a training, peer learning and receive tools and guidance to support the companies in their investment-readiness journeys from November to May 2026.

We will host online information sessions on 12th August which will provide a comprehensive overview of the program, including eligibility criteria, the application process, benefits of participation, and tips for crafting a strong submission. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage with GIZ and MDF.
