EY is a global professional services firm. Our 190,000 people work with national and international market-leading organisations across 150 countries. Enterprise Growth Services (EGS) is a heavily-subsidised, non-profit extension of EY’s consulting business, supporting small and growing businesses which change lives and livelihoods in low-income countries.
Many of our EGS clients have developed amazingly innovative products, services and business models which can and will make education, clean water, sanitation services, health services and clean energy accessible and affordable to the countless millions of people on earth who don’t have them. At their heart, though, they’re businesses like any other, and EGS is really just a way of offering them the same services we provide to our larger clients, at accessible, non-profit rates.
We send staff from our mature and emerging markets practices
with the right skills and experience to work hands-on as teams or individuals, on projects tailored to the needs and context of the enterprises they support. The focus is typically on helping management teams address critical growth challenges such as working capital/cashflow, financial/ operational management, staff development and retention, refreshing market strategies and positioning, etc. We also deploy experienced staff as interim CFOs, COOs and project managers.
