Cameroon – EU Business Week 2026

Promoting investment and trade between the European Union and Cameroon

This event provides a platform to explore investment opportunities, strategic partnerships and financing solutions in line with the European Union’s Global Gateway strategy. Join key stakeholders in Yaoundé to explore projects, partnerships, and financing opportunities.

Discussions will focus on strategic sectors:

  • Renewable Energy
  • Digital & IT Services
  • Agro-industry
  • Transport & Logistics

The programme will also feature cross-cutting panels on the business climate and EU financial instruments to ease access to finance for the economy, offering valuable insights into the enabling environment and financing opportunities.

The European Union and Team Europe focus their support on the above-mentioned sectors, as well as on key cross‑cutting priorities such as climate resilience, green value chains and the circular economy, in line with the Global Gateway agenda. Under the Global Gateway strategy, key initiatives include the Nachtigal hydropower dam (420 MW), the Kikot project, and rural electrification programmes.

The EU is also investing in connectivity through road corridors 5 and 6, alongside major infrastructure projects such as rail links, cross-border bridges (Ntem and Logone), the Kribi Port Industrial Zone, the Yaoundé bypass, urban mobility systems (BRT), and waste management. In addition, the EU supports key agro-industrial sectors (cocoa, timber, cotton) and is expanding its focus on agri-food value chains to strengthen food security and meet industrial demand.

The forum will bring together 250 participants from public institutions, private companies, financial actors and development partners.

Objectives of the business week include:

  • Facilitate investment opportunities
