East Africa Venture Debt Fund

The East Africa Venture Debt Fund provides short to medium-term working capital, asset financing, and bridge financing to start-ups and innovative small and growing businesses (SGBs) operating in Eastern Africa, with a goal of expanding across Sub-Saharan Africa.

The fund is ‘industry agnostic’ with a focus on both high-tech and low-tech businesses in financial services, education, agricultural value chain, healthcare, logistics, and consumer-focused industries. We support companies with strong business fundamentals including revenue-generating, existing positive cash flows, high growth potential, and innovative business models.

Investments are made alongside reputable equity investors and on-going strategic, operational, and financial support is provided to each investee to add tangible value to the growth and profitability of each company.
