You are the head of an SME or a project leader and want to accelerate your access to financing?

You are ambitious and want to be part of the national champions in the long term? Apply to the “ACTIV’INVEST – Open the Path for Funding” program! 

ACTIV’INVEST is an investment readiness and access to finance program for SMEs and project leaders funded by the European Union and implemented by ENABEL, the Belgian Development Agency.

If you are selected, you will pitch your project to our partners in order to be financed and raise funds. You will benefit from personalized support adapted to your needs for the development of your company. You will be supported in the revision and/or formalization of your business plan, attend technical trainings, build a link with a mentor corresponding to your profile, and benefit from a connection with a network of financial partners.

N.P. SMEs or project leaders from all over the world, with a scope of intervention in Senegal are welcomed to apply.

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible, you must meet the following criteria:

Location: The program aims to impact employability and promote the Senegalese territory, therefore your SME or your project must be located in Senegal. Senegalese from the Diaspora are encouraged to apply as well.

Vision: The program focuses on access to finance, therefore the SME or project must propose a solid short, medium and long term plan.

Availability: Be available from January 30, 2022 to April 30, 2022.

Selection criteria

In order to be selected, you must meet the following conditions:

Motivation: Your expectations concerning the program and the potential contributions to the development of your SME / project.

The capacity of the SME or project to be structured and formalized.

Growth potential:
The capacity of your SME or project to have a positive impact on employability and the local economy.

Quality of the offer on the market:
The capacity of your SME or project to meet an existing and perennial need.


The application phase is open from December 17, 2021 to January 27, 2022 and will be followed by the deployment of the program after arbitration by a selection committee.
The indicative schedule is as follows:

17-Dec: Start of the call for applications & opening of the online application

27-Jan: Deadline for online application

End of January: Announcement of the winners

From February: Start of the program
