A unique program co-developed by Dream VC with Dakar Network Angels, with virtual training sessions, and a culmination (and special workshops and panels!) at the annual Big Angels Day Africa Event in Dakar, Senegal on October 23rd!

This selective, 8-week program is designed for aspiring angel investors interested in Senegal, broader Francophone Africa, and investments across Africa. The program aims to introduce you to the fundamentals of startup investing, helping you build the confidence and capabilities needed to start your investment journey.

Sessions will be delivered live by world-class investment experts, offering accessible, practical guidance, exposure to real startup opportunities, and a pathway to becoming an active investor in the African innovation ecosystem.

Outcome for Participants:

By the end of this program, you will be fully equipped to:

  • Develop a personal investment thesis aligned with African startup markets
  • Confidently evaluate and screen startup deals
  • Understand the fundamentals of valuation, due diligence, and deal structuring
  • Engage in group-based portfolio strategies and investment syndicates
  • Access curated investment opportunities via Dakar Network Angels and make investments into African startups and SMEs
