Who we are:

Since our beginnings as a guild association, in 1927, the Chamber of Production and Trade Biobio has been linked to the productive activity of the Biobio Region and to the linking of its companies and industries with the different spheres of the community.

Today, after 9 decades of trajectory, the Chamber became one of the most important multisectoral guilds in southern Chile and consolidated its work representing more than 140 companies and associations around the constant challenge of giving prosperity to the area.

From 2018, the Chamber of Production and Commerce Concepción, became known as “CPC Biobio”, taking into account the need to approach the reality of the companies present in the region. New name, which responds to the importance of linking, for example, the agricultural world and tourism in Biobio or the generation of jobs and better connectivity in the province of Arauco; efforts that demand attention from the public and private world to enhance their development and growth.

Our mission:

To contribute so that in society there is an environment and institutional framework that, encourages and recognizes private property, the right to undertake, and policies and actions that strengthen and support the actions of the company as a center of sustainable development of the Biobio Region.
