Coca-Cola 5by20

5by20 is The Coca-Cola Company’s ambitious global initiative to enable the economic empowerment of 5 million women entrepreneurs across our value chain by 2020. Specifically, that means the small businesses – from fruit farmers to retailers to artisans – the Company works with in over 200 countries around the world.

Through 5by20, we are developing and implementing programs that enable women entrepreneurs to break down the barriers they face. These programs include business skills training courses, access to financial services and access to support networks of peers or mentors.

Our signature global partner is UN Women. This $4 million partnership will reach more than 40,000 women in Egypt, Brazil and South Africa over the next three years, providing valuable insights on sustainable project models that can be scaled up worldwide.

There are 5by20 programs enabling women in more than 20 countries around the world including Brazil, China, Costa Rica, Egypt, Ethiopia, Haiti, India, Liberia, Kenya, Mexico, Nigeria, the Philippines, South Africa and Thailand.
