The Future of Learning initiative, a collaboration between Co-Creation Hub (CcHub) and the Mastercard Foundation, aims to empower African edtech startups that enhance learning outcomes and expand access to quality education across the continent.
Key Features of the Program
•Equity-Free Funding: Selected startups receive up to $100,000 in non-equity funding during the accelerator program.
•Support & Mentoring: Participants gain access to multidisciplinary experts for assistance in design, product development, and technological optimization.
•Investor Network: The program offers exposure to a network of investors to facilitate the scaling of products.
•Discounts & Deals: Startups benefit from special deals with partnered tools and service providers.
•Marketing Strategy: Expert teams assist startups in aligning their market strategies to achieve product-market fit.
Eligibility Criteria
•Startups must be Africa-focused and incorporated in Nigeria.
•Solutions should address challenges in K-12 education, tertiary education, or vocational skills training.
•Teams should be balanced and passionate about education; female founders are strongly encouraged to apply.
Program Impact
To date, the initiative has disbursed $1.2 million and supported over 12 startups.
