Convene with purpose-driven entrepreneurs, students, researchers, and CGIAR scientists bringing their agri-tech solutions to end-users through the AgriTech4Uzbekistan Innovation Challenge. On Monday 29 April 2024 at 14:00-16:00 (Tashkent time), the live Demo Day will feature 10 finalists pitching to the Selection Committee, industry experts, and investors, to secure funding that will enable them to introduce their products to the Uzbek market.
How did we get here? After a rigorous multitiered selection process involving over 500 applications, we are pleased to announce the 10 innovation teams who have undergone a 3-month acceleration program, combining business mentorship and scientific technical assistance. This event marks the culmination of a one-year project to celebrate the scaling pathways of the 10 innovation teams.
It will serve as a platform to discuss the significance of fostering connections between cutting-edge research, technological innovation, and entrepreneurship in bringing agri-tech solutions from the laboratory to the market in Uzbekistan and Central Asia.
