Regional Centre for the Promotion of MSMEs
Since 2010, CENPROMYPE is implementing the MSME REGIONAL AGENDA to strengthen the competitiveness of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises. This Agenda was approved by the Meeting of Heads of State and Government of the SICA member countries as part of the Plan of Action of its XVII Meeting.
The objective of the Agenda, which has been updated in December 2018, is to articulate efforts and actions, from the regional space, to promote knowledge management and to multiply the benefits for MSMEs and constitutes the critical route for the implementation of public policies in the sector.
This AGENDA is structured by six axes in six axes through which the aim is to contribute to the Development Goals. Sustainable.
We promote actions for the strengthening and articulation of public, private and academic entities, as well as their mechanisms of care for MSMEs by expanding the supply and coverage of business development services, in the search for differentiated strategies to support them.
We facilitate the education, design and use of mechanisms to improve the management and access to the financing of MSMEs and to influence financial service providers, for designing products whose conditions incorporate traditionally excluded segments.
We promote the development and articulation of entrepreneurship ecosystems that generate a transformation of the business culture of our region to create a favorable environment for the birth, development and growth of innovative companies that positively impact economic growth and the region’s employment generation.
We design strategies and tools to improve the competitiveness of our region. MSMEs through promoting the incorporation of added value and continuous improvement processes that allow to expand their presence in national markets and access intra-regional and extra-regional markets.
We develop and promote a regional policy instrument that encourages the full enjoyment of the economic rights of women entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs.
We have an impact on the definition of policies, strategies and interventions to support MSME entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs in strengthening their capacities to innovate and generate, adopt and make use of new technologies.
