There is an urgent need to reignite a united domestic spirit and international goodwill that will work towards revitalising the economy and realize the goals of the Economic Reconstruction and Recovery Plan, which was first presented by President Cyril Ramaphosa in October 2020, “to create jobs, re-industrialise the economy, accelerate economic reforms, and to fight crime and corruption.”

South African decision-makers and thought-leaders across business, politics and civil society are coming together at the 5th annual Nation Brand Forum to reflect on the challenges and chart a way forward to develop a plan of action to rebuild South Africa and heed the president’s call to forge a new economy in a new global reality.

The Nation Brand Forum (NBF), first launched in 2016, is Brand SA’s flagship programme to drive active participation of the country’s key stakeholders to achieve a coherent and compelling Nation Brand image, reputation and competitiveness for South Africa.
