The Ministry of Women Affairs, Community, and Small Medium Enterprises Development (MoWACSMED) supported by The World Bank, BongoHive and iZone Hub have launched the Zimbabwe Private Sector & MSME Development Advisory Project to empower entrepreneurs by providing free training workshops and coaching to support your journey to success.

This 8-week program consists of a one-day digital marketing bootcamp and 7 weeks of online training in business essentials. In just eight weeks, you will have strengthened your business skills to help it grow!

Digital Marketing Bootcamp

Learn how to use the most effective online tools to expose your business brand, product or service to new customers. The one-day digital marketing bootcamp will be an engaging and informative session held in Harare and Bulawayo, with follow-on workshops online that will delve deeper into the content.

Online Business Development Sessions

Understand online marketing, business finance, regulatory compliance, and procurement. Led by industry professionals, these online sessions will support business owners over a 7-week period through workshops and coaching.

This program is designed to ensure minimal disruption to your business operations and to increase your exposure to digital platforms and services.

Who Can Apply

We are seeking to support small business owners based in Zimbabwe who need support with marketing their products and services, getting registered with procurement processes and understanding their business finances.

  • The business owner must be a Zimbabwean citizen over 18 years of age. Female business owners are encouraged to apply.
  • The business must be based and operating in Zimbabwe
  • If selected, key persons of the business must commit to attending a one-day workshop in February in either Harare or Bulawayo. Participants travelling for the workshop will bear their own travel and accommodation costs.
  • If selected, key people from the business must commit to undertaking the 7-week program online from February to April 2023. Participants are expected to bear their own costs for access to a computer and the internet.
