Bonaventure Capital was founded in 1998 to provide tailored, transparent and cost-effective private-market and public-market investment exposure to B. L. Harbert and a small group of like-minded investors.  Today, although the firm’s areas of focus have evolved (Construction, Impact, Financial Services and Other), our commitment to provide tailored, transparent and cost-effective investment exposure has not.
In the private markets the firm provides growth equity to companies that are developing innovative, value-additive technologies and business models.  We seek to invest in companies with:

• Strong initial product-market fit as evidenced by customer adoption and revenue traction,
• A clear trajectory for developing sustainable competitive advantages, and
• A management team passionate about solving problems for their customers and capable of scaling their businesses.
