VC4A Mentor-Driven Capital
As part of the ‘Work in Progress!’ coalition VC4A is a member of, 33 women were selected for the VC4A Mentor-Driven Capital Program – Africa. Our goal is to increase representation of women in key roles within the startup ecosystems on the continent. Read more.

Investor readiness services to augment your program
In 2023 VC4A is doubling down on providing in-depth technical assistance and hands-on support to selected startups and scale-ups who are part of programs of our partners. GIZ Accelerator Program for Climate Change Innovations comes to a close
GIZ and its Digital Transformation Centers in Benin, Cameroon and Niger, in collaboration with Etrilabs, CIPMEN, ActivSpaces and VC4A set up an acceleration program. 8 winners had the chance to pitch their solutions to the Digital Innovation Festival audience. Read more.

VC4A is proud to once again partner with The Jack Ma Foundation’s annual Africa’s Business Heroes (ABH) Competition, to identify and engage potential candidates. They aim to support 10 African heroes with USD 1.5M cash prizes and more.

The GoGettaz Africa Community – hosted and maintained by VC4A – is an online platform for young, innovative entrepreneurs who are revolutionizing Africa’s agri-food sector. Next to the annual agripreneur prize competition, VC4A hosts this environment year-round.

10th edition of the Africa Early Stage Investor Summit

In Q4 of this year, VC4A and ABAN will organize the 10th edition of the Africa Early Stage Investor Summit (#AESIS2023).

In the build-up to the event a webinar series has been launched where founders and members of the investor community reflect on the past 10 years of connecting early-stage investors in Africa.
