Next week local and international experts in the mobile web space will converge on Lagos for the third edition of West Africa’s leading mobile focused conference, Mobile Web West Africa 2013. The tech event takes place from May 7th to 10th at the Four Points by Sheraton in the Nigerian commercial capital. At Mobile Web West Africa 2013, speakers have been drawn from Qualcomm, Etisalat, MXit, VConnect, biNu, Thomson Reuters, iROKING, Jumia Nigeria, M-Net Africa, Spinlet, L5Lab, Eskimi, Guinness Nigeria and Airtel, among others. They will share tips and experiences through interactive discussions aimed at advancing the region’s growing mobile web sector.

For the first time, the 2013 edition features Mobile Marketing West Africa Focus Day. The mini-event holds on Tuesday May 7th. It will bring mobile marketing experts from Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and South Africa to share best practice insights and case studies on mobile advertising, data & analytics, mobile social networks and location based services. Google, Konga, Wild Fusion, 2go, Twinpine and AdsBrook would be delivering presentations at the Focus Day.
The main conference takes place on May 8th and 9th, and an invite-only App Developer Day will run on May 10th featuring developers who seek to optimize and monetize their mobile apps. Top minds in mobile app development will also showcase their creations and compete for prizes during the App Developer Competition.
