Barloworld Siyakhula

At Barloworld, we believe in the power and potential of South African entrepreneurs. Through Siyakhula, we grow them – cultivating the talent, opportunities and partnerships that allow potential to flourish. In doing so, we stay true to our name, which means ‘we are growing’ in isiZulu and isiXhosa.

Founded in 2005, Siyakhula is the supplier and enterprise development arm of Barloworld Limited, responsible for promoting transformation, Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment and supplier diversity within the group’s value chain.

We create opportunities for small and medium-sized businesses, along with shared value for our shareholders. We achieve these objectives by providing financial and non-financial support to SMME’s, helping them become sustainable and competitive within the marketplace.

At the Barloworld Siyakhula Incubation Hub (BSIH), we build businesses.A partnership between Barloworld Siyakhula & the Department of Trade & Industry (dti), the BSIH provides eligible SMMEs with access to expert guidance, support and resources aimed at developing world-class suppliers.
