SLINGSHOT, Asia’s biggest startup competition, is back for its 7th edition, with once in a lifetime investment and networking opportunities. From a prize pool of over S$1.2 million, to collaborating directly with influential pioneers, there are plenty of resources that can bring your team the tools and connections to succeed.

Regardless of where you’re from, this is your opportunity to showcase your innovative solutions and products to major investors and industry leaders!

Eligibility criteria

This Competition is open and offered solely to:

• Business entities, regardless of their business area. Startups may be required, in the Organizer’s sole discretion, to provide proof of (i) company registration by submitting a registration certificate issued within the last three (3) months, or ongoing company registration/business profile, or any trade registry and proof ensuring the registration of the entity in the relevant country.

Any technology-based startups that meet the following conditions are eligible to participate:

1. Develops or possesses innovation*
2. Has been registered within the past 10 years in their country of registration
3. Is not a subsidiary of a corporate entity**

Startups participating should have the goal of incorporating in Singapore.

*Innovation refers to any one of the following:

• Develops, produces or commercializes tech products, services or platforms; OR

• Holds a patent registered with an approved national IP institution; OR

• Has an ongoing research collaboration with a research  institution (contract of services is not considered to be  research collaboration).

**The enterprise is not a subsidiary of a corporate entity if it has more than 50% collective individual ownership at the point of incorporation.

All the documents that may confirm the Participant’s eligibility may be required prior to awarding any prizes (e.g. identity document, registration certificate etc.).

This Competition is not open to employees and representatives of the Organizer and Agorize and the members of their families. This Competition is void in countries where it is prohibited or restricted by law
