The 2016 African Diaspora Investment Symposium

It is with great pleasure that African Diaspora Network in partnership with International diaspora Engagement Alliance (idEA) and Homestrings invite you to the 2016 African Diaspora Investment Symposium to be held 29-30th January 2016 in Silicon Valley at the Biltmore Hotel and Suites in Santa Clara, California.

The symposium will highlight new opportunities for the diaspora and other investors to participate in Africa’s dynamic growth. Participants will have a unique opportunity to engage key stakeholders (Entrepreneurs, Venture Capitalist, Private Equity Firms, Foundations and Not-for-profits) and discuss opportunities in Africa’s new era of entrepreneurship. The symposium will distinguish itself from other Africa-specific forums through its active and purposeful panels and workshops that focus on the role of the Diaspora.

The symposium will:

  • Showcase new investment channels to support the new generation of African entrepreneurs

  • Build new links between African Entrepreneurs and Silicon Valley, beyond the “iHubs”

  • Empower African entrepreneurs and professionals to be promoters of Africa’s growth story via workshops, panels and networks.
