African Business Angel Network Summit at DEMO Africa in Lagos
On Wednesday September 23, 2015, the African Business Angel Network (ABAN), Lagos Angels Network (LAN), DEMO Africa and Venture Capital for Africa (VC4Africa), jointly present “The African Opportunity: Angel Investing in Africa” Investor Summit at DEMO Africa 2015. The summit will bring together early stage investors and leading opinion leaders from across the continent, Europe and the US and will precede DEMO Africa 2015, the launch platform for new technology, September 24 – 25. All events are scheduled to take place at the Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos, Nigeria.
LAGOS DAY OUT Are you coming to join us for the “LAGOS DAY OUT” during the ABAN Angel Investment Summit and DEMO Africa in September? Candace Johnson, EBAN President says about spending the day out and about in Lagos, Nigeria with Tomi Davies, ABAN President and SJ Tours’ Abiola Ogunbiyi as her tour guides, “It was a very rewarding and exciting experience. An activity that’s created a consciousness in me of the amazing investment opportunities available in Nigeria and across Africa”. The “Lagos Day Out” is a six (6) hour tour of key places of interest in Lagos selected by Tomi & Abiola to share a visual story of our city’s history, current affairs and future plans with guests. The tour starts early with a visit to the Nigerian National Museum to get a context from the city’s history. This visit is followed by a ride through Lagos Island’s Broad Street with photo opportunities in the bustling markets that line the streets. After a drive down the Marina financial district, we’ll hop onto the mainland for a visit to the tech Hubs (ccHub & iDEA Hub) that anchor Yaba’s “Silicon Lagoon”. Lunch will be at Terra Kulture so you can safely sample the local fare in a very Nigerian setting and have a “Chapman” if you dare. After lunch, we take a look at the future Lagos under development, the Eko Atlantic City project. The day out ends with a visit you don’t want to miss to the Nike Art Gallery where guests will be entertained by a cultural troupe and encouraged to learn some traditional dance steps. There’s more, but we’re sure you get the idea. Come hang outin our city for a day and discover Africa’s largest and fastest growing city – LAGOS!. WELCOME TO OUR “LAGOS DAY OUT” Price: Only $100 USD per Guest (Refreshment and lunch included) Please email secretariat@lagosangelnetwork.net to make your reservation for the dayout preference on Saturday 26 September and join the party. We look forward to hosting you.
