The Adansonia Project

  • connects entrepreneurs with one another through in-person events and an online chatting platform;
  • trains entrepreneurs on starting businesses and writing business proposals with in-person workshops and an online course taught by professors at Bocconi University;
  • and offers opportunities to pitch to investors.

The Adansonia Project is a collaboration between researchers at Bocconi University in Milan, Oxford University, Harvard University, and venture capitalists around Africa.

What distinguishes the Adansonia program is the emphasis on connecting entrepreneurs with one another. These connections enable entrepreneurs to share and improve their ideas with a diverse array of peers from different sectors, locations, and backgrounds. The Adansonia program offers prizes to the participants who most actively help their peers refine their business ideas.
