We are looking for teams of 2-4 members to join us at our 6-month, Kigali-based incubator. To be considered, teams must demonstrate the following characteristics:
Think accepts applications from all over the world from companies that want to first launch their products in Africa. The application deadline for this round is 15 August, 2014 and applications can be found at think.rw/apply
Selected tech start-ups will live in Kigali for a period of six months, accessing think’s intensive structured acceleration program. think provides to participants access to knowledge, network, resources and access to Tigo customers base for their products.
During the six months, selected startups will engage with technical as well a business expert to work on creating value out of scalable and exportable products. Participants during the accelerator program get the opportunity to build their respective skills in business development, fund-raising and other strategic leadership skills.
Selected companies will be incubated in Rwanda, starting in September 2014, and will work full-time until “graduation” in March 2015. In this time, the acceleration program allows startups to immerse themselves in education and development programs that seeks to develop start-up teams to reach their full potential.
Upon completion of the program, promising companies can continue to benefit from the extensive Millicom network.
