FarmKonnect Institute for Data and Agribusiness Studies (FIDAS) is a subsidiary of FarmKonnect Agribusiness Nigeria Plc established with the intent of increasing knowledge and skills acquisition of stakeholders in the demand and supply sides of the agricultural value chain.
FIDAS was founded to bridge frictions in Africa’s food and agribusiness sector and increase value to stakeholders through quality research and training as well as reliable and relatable insights that will produce data-conscious professionals in the sector. Hence, our vision is to enhance the use of smart processes, people and technologies for data and insights generation that help stakeholders make informed decisions toward responsible production and achieving sustainable food security in Africa by 2030 and beyond, and our mission is to contribute to quality and data-driven workforce that can help Africa’s agriculture and food system to transition into a new path in the digital-data economy.
