SOCIETE GENERALE

With a significant and historic presence in Africa, Societe Generale group has a unique position in the region, which enables it to offer its clients the expertise and know-how of an international bank and the proximity of a local bank. Société Générale supports local economies and serves 3.7 million customers, including 150,000 businesses.
The distribution network is composed of both traditional banking networks in 17 countries, but also of two alternative models: Manko and YUP.

  •  YUP offers financial and non-financial services within an electronic wallet in 8 countries through a network of partner agents. Thanks to NSDT technology, YUP is accessible regardless of the type of phone and whoever the telephone company is.
  • Manko is an inclusive financial institution offering local products and services, simple and dedicated to Senegalese populations with modest incomes. Manko agents are close to their customers by moving around the scene in scooter, and offer a fast and secure service through a 100% digital service from opening accounts to recovery through the granting of credit.
