Africa’s youth population is growing rapidly and is expected to reach over 830 million by 2050.
Every 24 hours, nearly 33,000 youth across Africa join the search for employment. About 60% will be joining the army of the unemployed. They are all looking for the right skills that will enable them to increase their income earning opportunities and succeed in all areas of their lives.
Across the board, gender gaps in technical and vocational education and training enrollment are also significant. Every day, girls face barriers to education caused by poverty, cultural norms and practices, poor infrastructure, violence, and fragility.
Zydii (www.zydii.com), our digital learning platform tailored for the African learner, solves these problems by providing affordable, accessible and relatable digital courses. The courses are available in video, audio and text format and can be accessed online and offline.
