Women Like Us is an organization dedicated to empowering women through sustainable skills, financial literacy, mental health and entrepreneurship.
In the heart of our community, women face significant challenges like poverty, limited opportunities, and gender-based violence. Yet, these same women are the pillars of their families and society, brimming with untapped potential. Our mission is to unlock that potential and transform their lives, one step at a time.
What We Do
At Women Like Us Centre, we focus on five key programs:
1. Sewing and Tailoring: Equipping women with skills to create products for local and international markets.
2. Computer Literacy: Teaching essential digital skills for employability and entrepreneurship.
3. Poultry Farming: Supporting women in agricultural ventures for sustainable livelihoods.
4. Financial Literacy: Empowering women with knowledge to manage and grow their finances.
5. Health advocacy: Champion for mental health among women and fight GBV
