Reitumetse Thlagale- Executive Director- An Honorable Strategic Brand Communication’s graduate who refers to herself as a “Social Entrepreneur” with her heart deeply rooted in Agriculture, Food Security and Distribution and the empowerment of black owned food brands.
Melissa Kater- CEO and Co-Founder – Melissa participated in many import and export projects. These included, fresh meat produce and grain where she dealt with white farmers, white owned mills and got to understand the entire food value chain. Absent during this time and in her dealings is the lack of fully commercialized black owned farms and a non-existent black miller in South Africa. Melissa got to see the dire need of women in rural South Africa and the lack of women participation in agriculture notably the grain sector.
Michelle Davids- Finance and Admin Director- An old battle-axe with over 30 years experience at Blue Chip Company’s, WiG is safe in the knowledge that our Finance and Admin is secure.
